The following text is required: “Organic Chemistry Laboratory Manual,” Pomona College, 2006-2007, Chemistry 110 Laboratory Notebook, safety glasses and gloves. Available for purchase from chemistry department stockroom. These items will be billed to your student account.   The following text is on reserve: “The Organic Chem Lab Survival Manual: A Student's Guide to Techniques,” Sixth Edition, J.W. Zubrick, Wiley Publishing, 2003. (Available at Seeley G. Mudd Science Library)

Exam Dates and Topics Covered

All exams will be held during normal class hours in the lecture hall.

 

• Lab Midterm, Friday, October 26
  The lab midterm will include material from Experiment 1A up to and though Experiment 6A.

• Lab Final, Friday, December 7
  The lab final is cumulative but will focus on material from Experiment 6B up to and through Experiment 10A.
